Starting Principles

A collection of principles I've found helpful over the years.

I’ve come across these over the years and have found them helpful.

  • To suffer before it is necessary is to suffer more than is necessary.
  • Half doing something is an expensive way of not doing it.
  • There is no value in winning when the game doesn’t matter to you.
  • Be good to your future self by prioritizing what compounds.
  • You can be twice as rich by deciding you need half as much.
  • If you rethink this from scratch, what would this look like if it were easy?
  • Action over perfection
  • How can I enjoy my current state?
  • Can this go without being said?
  • Substance over speed
  • Control needs, expand assets
  • Consistency first, intensity second
